The Accidentals es una banda estadounidense formada en Traverse City, Michigan, en 2012 por los cantautores y multiinstrumentistas Sav Buist (ahora Sav Madigan) y Katie Larson. El grupo ha presentado una mezcla ecléctica de indie folk, pop, bluegrass, rock, música clásica y otros géneros. Han publicado siete álbumes de larga duración, cuatro EP y dos álbumes en vivo.
Buist y Larson crecieron en familias musicales, lanzaron sus dos primeros álbumes mientras estaban en la escuela secundaria, contrataron al percusionista Michael Dause en 2014 y comenzaron una gira nacional. Dause se retiró en marzo de 2023 y fue reemplazado por Katelynn Corll. La banda firmó con el sello discográfico Sony Masterworks cuando los miembros tenían alrededor de 21 años, pero volvieron a publicar sus grabaciones de forma independiente.Actualmente, radicados en Nashville, realizan giras y talleres musicales por todo Estados Unidos.
